SEAM: Coming together for World Pride 2023

SEAM: coming together for World Pride 23 celebrated five artists whose LGBTQIA+ identity informs and propels their work and practice.

The exhibition presented extraordinary work across the spectrum of the arts, including textiles, neon sculpture, poetry, photography, video, and performance by artists Liam Benson, Steven Cavanagh, Sage Blake Rivers, Shannon West and Paul Yore.

MAC yapang and MAP mima collaborated on this exhibition jointly curated by Courtney Wagner (MAC yapang) and Pippa Budge (MAP mima).  A second part of the exhibition was on show at MAP mima from 24 February to 9 April 2023.
